Artist in residence program: Up close and personal with creativity

The historic Niagara Artist Gallery on Queen Street in Niagara Falls was founded four years ago as part of the revitalization
of the old downtown core and features a wide variety of art pieces from local talent that add to the culture movement
that has been trying to blossom in the area.

As one of their current initiatives to engage the public with the creative world they have been hosting
an Artist in Residence Program funded by the Government of Ontario’s Trillium Incentive.  It strives to bring established
and emerging artists to the gallery to create a body of work for the public to see up close and personal, whereby educating
the viewers while supporting the artists themselves…
